The Reptile Cantina was opened in 2024 by husband and wife couple Isaiah Stronach and Cutty Bage.
Located on two separate floors, the downstairs has a casual, rock-and-roll honky-tonk dive bar feel that serves elevated southwestern inspired bar food. We strive to provide clean and creative meals and cocktails, with a focus on fresh ingredients and made-from-scratch recipes.
Upstairs, you will find a full venue and event space with it’s own bar, where you can see live music, or attend our weekly events such as open mic, karaoke, trivia, bingo, etc. The event space is also available to rent for private parties!

The dining area downstairs is always all ages until 10pm! Please be aware that we do not have high-chairs for babies. The venue upstairs is generally all ages, but some events may be 21+, call ahead or check the calendar for specifics!

The kitchen usually closes an hour before the bar!

We have lots of vegetarian items on the menu, and many of our regular menu items can be made vegan! We also have lot of gluten intolerant options, like our tacos on corn tortillas, and nachos. While we can accomodate gluten intolerant, and do our best to be mindful of cross contamination, please be sure to inform us of any allergies you may have!

Morganton is a social district, which means you can purchase alcohol from participating bars and walk around downtown with it until 10pm. We do participate, so you can come grab an alcoholic beverage to walk around town with! We do not allow outside beverages though, so be sure to finish your drink from other places before you come in!
